You know what would be really neat? If you could pre-install Xbox 360 games to the hard drive. They could release the demo as the full game and then when you insert the disc it unlocks the rest of the content. There’s nothing more annoying than having to sit and wait for 10-15 minutes while your game installs and you’re itching to play it.

Xbox Live price increase

I really don’t like this. OK the price is staying the same for 12 month in the UK but it shouldn’t be increasing anywhere. They need to make Twitter, Facebook, Netflix, ESPN and Last.FM paid extras so that if you don’t use them (which I don’t) then you get a cheaper service. Why should I have to pay extra for someone else to check Facebook on their 360?

I got two pretty average reviewed games this week on rental, Singularity (76 on metacritic) and Sniper: Ghost Warrior (46 on metacritic). Sniper pretty much lives up to the reviews and is glitchy and not very good overall.

Singularity is proving to be much more fun and reminds me of Bioshock in a lot of ways.

I just played a game of Battlefield: Bad Company 2 multiplayer where the entire opposing team were snipers. What’s that all about?

I’m excited that DICE are working on the Medal of Honor multiplayer, I’ll definitely be checking that out when it releases.
