Not one but two season finales to watch tonight: Game of Thrones and The Killing. Since I already know what happens in Game of Thrones because I’ve read the book I’m much more excited for The Killing. It’s been a fantastic season so far and hopefully they can end it well and set up for the next.
I hadn’t even heard about this show until five minutes ago and now it’s my most anticipated new show of the next year. Looks fantastic.

When the US versions of Shameless, Skins and Being Human were announced, I rolled my eyes in disgust. Why can’t US tv companies think up new ideas instead of rehashing old British ones?
However when I watched Shameless I thoroughly enjoyed it. I’d go so far as to say it’s been my favorite show this tv season. The reason it works so well is the core Gallagher family. Despite most of the actors being in their teens they are actually really good and their affection for each other comes across as genuine, especially in the fraternal relationship of Lip and Ian.
Despite having some completely bonkers plot lines the main story of the season is just a poor, dysfunctional family on the wrong side of the tracks struggling to get by while dealing with issues of sexuality, education and morality.
I can’t wait for season two.
What a brilliant like TV movie this was. Filled with hot boys half naked and a touching love story with a dash of humour thrown in for good measure.
And then Santana telling Britney she loves her only to be rejected? Heartbreaking.
