Auto grammarise
So at the moment iPhone/Android/Windows Phone all have some variant of autocorrect. Autocorrect notices when you spell a word wrong on a touchscreen and guessing what you might’ve been typing. So for example I just typed ‘sprll’ and when I hit space after the second l it correct to spell. It’s a great feature for using touchscreens and occasionally it can get annoying when you’re trying type a name of something or some sort.
With the next variant of iOS I would like to see Apple do something even better. Add in letters for teenage typers. There isn’t much I hate more in this world thn ppl who txt lyk dis. Why do that? It makes you seem like an idiot. It doesn’t sound cool, it doesn’t make you gangster.
How awesome would it be that if people text like that the iPhone would automatically correct it from ‘txt lyk dis’ to ‘text like this’? I feel like all the adults in the world would thank Apple immensely.
At least twice today the DJ on the radio said ‘Happy Memorial Day’, how fucking dumb are you? There isn’t anything happy about this day. Would you say ‘Happy your loved one died protecting their country day’? That’s essentially what you’re saying. This must be a horrible day for so many people in the US and beyond who are reminded that their loved one died far away from them.
It doesn’t matter what your feelings are on war, especially the current wars the US and UK are embroiled in, if a person lays their lives on the line for your freedom, they deserve your respect. Spare a thought, raise a glass, donate some blood. It doesn’t matter what you do to honour them, it just matters that you do.

I love people who saunter to the bus stop late and sit on the bench at the front of the queue and then think they can just get on the bus before all the people who’ve been standing for ten minutes. I just finished A Feast For Crows, an achievement in itself as that book was a chore to get through for the most part. I was excited for the store to be furthered in A Dance With Dragons only I’ve now learned it actually runs in tandem with the timeline of A Feast For Crows rather than actually furthering the story! What’s even funnier is that at the end of the book GRRM promises that part five will be out within a year. That was in 2005. A Dance With Dragons didn’t come out til 2011. Interesting. It better be good.
