Marriage proposals on TV and in movies always make me wish I hadn’t been the one to propose because I know Tim would’ve been so much better at it than I was. He probably would’ve had a song and dance.

I forgot how epic the opening of Mass Effect 2 is, I hope Mass Effect 3’s opening can live up to it. From what I played in the demo released yesterday it looks like it will. One question tho: where is Joker? Did he die in ME2? I’m playing through it again to find out.

I am very excited to sample the KitKat Chunky white choc’s that Linzi sent me over. I have put them in the fridge so they can be enjoyed at the best temperature possible.
One of the reasons I am marrying Tim
So this weekend Tim was supposed to come up and we were going to have a romantic weekend since he wouldn’t be here on Tuesday for Valentines Day. But then it all went to pot because I had to take over in another store so I had to work the weekend and I was not happy about it. We decided there was no point in Tim coming up cos I would be tired and cranky anyway so that made me even more...

I can’t decide if I should watch the Superbowl or not. It seems like one of those things a person should do once in their lives…
This city and it’s surroundings are going to be gorgeous in the summertime.
You know how they say you swallow seven spiders a year in your sleep? I’m calling bullshit.
Whenever I so much as blink at a spider it scuttles under a bed or some other place I can’t get at it. Imagine what a humans breath is like to a spider. Hurricane force wind? Worse?
Would you be able to walk towards that? But more importantly, would you think it a good idea?

I want to let myself get excited for this movie but there’s been too many disappointments lately.
This is creepy on a level off the charts →
Also, how is it legal? If he’s adopted her as a parent and he’s sleeping with her isn’t that incest by law?

I was sitting on the sofa last night watching the Breaking Bad season finale (bit dull) when I looked down and saw the cover of Jasmine’s latest issue of Cosmo. ‘Guys best sex: men tell us about the best sex they’ve ever had’.
How odd I thought for a magazine for horny females to contain a story of guys talking about having sex with guys!
Newt Gingrich has a face only a mother could love, and his mother named him Newt.

Tonight was by far the worst experience I’ve had at the cinema in a long time, and it’s enough to convince me to save my money and download movies when they come out. Reasons?
1) Pricing - I went tonight because it was cheap, $5.75 is actually cheaper in $ than a UK ticket is in £’s. However the popcorn/drink prices? Fucking ridiculous, especially considering I only pay 90%...

It’s -7 outside and a guy just got on the Skytrain in shorts. What? That doesn’t you cool, just an idiot who will likely die of hypothermia.
Finally managed to lose one of my last pair of tips for my headphones so I’m now headphoneless til Tim comes up on Saturday. Five commutes listen to people’s mundane chat? Kill me now.
You know it’s cold when the inside of the Skytrain has ice on it.

Odd thing regarding Twitter and privacy: my hoosemate has her tweets set to private (scandalous sexploits and run ins with the Polish mafia should be kept private*) so I couldn’t retweet a tweet of hers earlier. However my @ replies to her show up in my public stream. Shouldn’t Twitter notice I’m tweeting to someone who has privatised their account and hide that? Seems like an...

sweetupndown:
you thought I didn’t really notice. But I did. I wanted to high-five you. Yesterday I had a pair of brothers in my store. One was maybe between 15-17. He was a wrestler at the local high school. Kind of tall, stocky and handsome. He had a younger brother, who was maybe about 10-12 years old. The…

If there was research to say that handwriting is genetic then I would be perfect proof. I just looked at my thank you cards and realised I do half my letter like my Mum and half like my Dad. I noticed also that Ross writes like Dad but not like Mum. Linzi writes like neither so I assume she is adopted from midgets since his writing is so miniscule.
